| Starting our 3D name frame |
As part of some research work, our teacher has set us all a task to find out about Great women in Islam.
Today we learnt about Faatimah bint Muhammad and her qualities which were similar to the Prophet himself. She is known to be one of the four greatest women in Islam and is to be the queen of Jannah.
Also today, we began to paper mache our names in Arabic to create a 3D effect. With a bit of patience we all got there in the end and left our names to dry for tomorrow.
Have a go at making your own paper mache name. Simply write your name in Arabic 'bubble' writing. Fill in the text with loads of scrunched up paper, lots of glue and even more patience. Once filled let it dry.
