Today I learnt about food groups and eating a balanced diet.
Food groups include carbohydrates, protein, dairy, fats and vitamins and minerals and water.
We also learnt about healthy and unhealthy food choices for suhoor and iftar-too many fried foods or salty foods are definitely not good for you and dates are a great food for boosting energy levels.
I had fun and it was interesting to learn some new things.
