Ramadan club week two, age group 14+
We continued with our Arabic paper mache names. They had all dried and were ready for the next stage - foil! We had to cover our names with foil. First, we applied glue to our names and then we had to scrunch up pieces of foil. This foil was then carefully laid over the names and spread, to ensure all the letter forms were clearly visible. It was a little tricky to get the foil into the grooves, but if it wasn't done properly, the letters of the name would not have been clear.
It was Jaweriyah's turn to tell us about one of our famous historic women in Islaam. She told us about Maryam bint Imraan (as). It was a beautiful and inspiring reminder of one of the four best women in Islaam. A great role model for us all!
